TIMS is based in Chicago, IL. While they have been a band since 2004, they have toured very little and released only 2 albums. The 2 records are very different; early on the band was loosely associated with pop punk (they even had a song on a Punk-o-rama sampler), but they’ve since moved into a more classic rock, experimental sound. They recorded their new album, Only Uphill, themselves and self-released it digitally a couple months ago.
