At the end of Summer 2002, The 'Chise was born - an energy driven, eight-MC based, self-produced, multi-racial hiphop crew engulfed in the Southern California hiphop culture. The members of The 'Chise came together from different SoCal areas: 29 Palms, Orange County, Los Angeles, & San Diego. Each MC in The 'Chise is an individual with their own unique original sound, flavor, and attitude. NONE of them sound like any MC's currently out on the west or east coast and all strive to be original. The 'Chise fused elements of West Coast Rap, East Coast Hip Hop, and Dirty South Crunk into its own original sound along with west-coast attitude and Orange County / LA flavor. They have opened for the likes of Too Short, Digital Underground, Talib Kweli, Twista, Slick Rick, The Game, Ying Yang Twins, Paul Wall, Devin The Dude, Three 6 Mafia, Sly Boogy, and Naughty By Nature. Some of the venues they've rocked include The Grove of Anaheim, Viper Room Hogue Barmichaels, The Roxy, Wavehouse San Diego, Knitting Factory, Key Club, Casino Morongo and House of Blues(Anaheim) to name a few! Everywhere you go in Orange County you hear the buzz about The 'Chise. Who are they? What are they all about? What are they going to do next?
