FATIMA is one of Latin Alternative music's hottest up and coming acts. The Los Angeles rock quartet's ?energetic live shows and D.I.Y. work ethic have won them a loyal fan base both in the U.S. and Latin America.

Formed in a garage in gritty East LA, FATIMA has been hard at work making a name for themselves in the latin alternative music scene for over 4 years. They managed to continuously stay very busy by word of mouth and self promotion. Their hard work both on and off the stage has put them on the stage with such bands as Allison, Alesana, Delux, Pastilla, La Gusana Ciega, Los Tres, QBO, Kill Aniston, Insite, Bye Sami, Monte Negro, Disidente & Elli Noise, as well as placed them in some of Hollywood's most famous venues such as the House of Blues, The Key Club, The Roxy, The Cat Club & The Hard Rock Cafe.

After recording a few demos and playing any show they could to sharpen their on-stage skills, the band decided to record their first ?full length album, 'Escuchame'. With influences such as Social Distortion, Emery, Jumbo, Bayside & Bye Sami, among others, the end result was a guitar and drum pounding driven record, with emotionally charged lyrics & bass lines that you would swear are a third guitar.

Not satisfied with touring only in the U.S., FATIMA set their sights on conquering the tough music crowds in Mexico. With two ?successful promotional tours throughout Mexico, including opening slots for Fearless Records artists Alesana, FATIMA prepare themselves for their next visit... in support of their much anticipated album release. 'Escuchame' is set for independent release in?Mexico this October of 2009. They plan to tour Mexico heavily in support of their album throughout the year.

FATIMA has been featured in online and print publications, various radio & TV stations throughout the U.S. and Latin America, ?(including EXA, MTV3 & Mun2) & has been featured on multiple compilation albums, most recently being included in the 'Indie Rocks LA' compilation featured at the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) held in NYC in July 2009.
