I had my hands on a piano keyboard before I could walk. I learned to read music before I learned to read books. In a way, the music I play and write is the result of years of learning to communicate through the keys of a piano. I started my life in a medium-sized town in Central Pennsylvania. We inherited the family piano, and the curiosity of a child quickly turned into an obsession. The kind neighborhood piano teacher took me under her wing when I was 3 and patiently began to teach me how to organize the sounds of the keys into music. (complete bio @ brianlucas.com)
